Special Operations Assault Rifle - Details

Details

The FERFRANS SOAR is a selective fire 5.56x45mm NATO assault rifle firing from a closed rotating bolt. It has a gas-actuated piston-driven long stroke operating system, which uses burnt powder gases vented through a port in the barrel to power the weapon's moving parts. It uses a heavy machine gun barrel for sustained firing to produce a sub-machine gun with a high power caliber. The FERFRANS SOAR uses a unique patented rate reduction system (FERFRANS RRS) that reduces the cyclic rate of fire regardless of barrel length. This allows for controlled bursts without the use of a burst fire setting. The combination of the low cyclic rate, a compensator, and Selective Integrated Rail (S.I.R.) with vertical foregrip permits sustained automatic fire with no muzzle climb, making the weapon extremely controllable, and capable of overwhelming and accurate firepower.

Famous quotes containing the word details:

If my sons are to become the kind of men our daughters would be pleased to live among, attention to domestic details is critical. The hostilities that arise over housework...are crushing the daughters of my generation....Change takes time, but men’s continued obliviousness to home responsibilities is causing women everywhere to expire of trivialities.
    Mary Kay Blakely (20th century)

Working women today are trying to achieve in the work world what men have achieved all along—but men have always had the help of a woman at home who took care of all the other details of living! Today the working woman is also that woman at home, and without support services in the workplace and a respect for the work women do within and outside the home, the attempt to do both is taking its toll—on women, on men, and on our children.
    Jeanne Elium (20th century)

Then he told the news media
the strange details of his death
and they hammered him up in the marketplace
and sold him and sold him and sold him.
    My death the same.
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)
