Rapidly backwards and forwards: we call this
Easing the spring. And rapidly backwards and forwards
The early bees are assaulting and fumbling the flowers:
They call it easing the Spring.”

But just as it demeans life to live alongside a great river you can no longer swim in or drink from, to be crowded into safer areas and hours takes much of the gloss off walkingone sport you shouldnt have to reserve a time and a court for.”
—Edward Hoagland (b. 1932)
“I doubt whether classical education ever has been or can be successfully carried out without corporal punishment.”
—George Orwell (19031950)
