Administrative Divisions

The Republic of the Congo is divided into 12 départements (departments). Departments are divided into communes and/or districts. These are:

  • Cuvette-Ouest
  • Kouilou
  • Lékoumou
  • Brazzaville
  • Likouala
  • Niari
  • Plateaux
  • Pool
  • Sangha
  • Pointe Noire
