Music Makers

The Music Makers was a 1940s band from Saint Kitts and Nevis. They were among the most popular of the Carnival bands from that era.

Famous quotes containing the words music and/or makers:

Orpheus with his lute made trees
And the mountain tops that freeze
Bow themselves when he did sing.
To his music plants and flowers
Ever sprung, as sun and showers
There had made a lasting spring.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

All that we call ideal in Greek or any other art, because to us it is false and visionary, was, to the makers of it, true and existent.
    John Ruskin (1819–1900)
