List Of American Football Stadiums By Capacity

The following is an incomplete list of current American football stadiums. They are ordered by their seating capacity, that is the maximum number of spectators that the stadium can accommodate. The list contains the home stadiums of all 32 professional teams playing in the NFL as well as the largest stadiums used by college football teams in the NCAA. The United States is unique in that eighteen of its twenty largest stadiums are home to a college team, not a professional one. The largest professional team stadium falls at number 15 on the list. Not included are several large stadiums used by teams in the now-defunct NFL Europa, as these were all built for and used mainly for association football, or the Rogers Centre, which is located in Canada (although it does host occasional American football games). Currently all football stadiums with a capacity of 30,000 or more are included.

Famous quotes containing the words list of, list, american, football and/or capacity:

My list of things I never pictured myself saying when I pictured myself as a parent has grown over the years.
    Polly Berrien Berends (20th century)

I made a list of things I have
    to remember and a list
of things I want to forget,
but I see they are the same list.
    Linda Pastan (b. 1932)

During the late war [the American Revolution] I had an infallible rule for deciding what [Great Britain] would do on every occasion. It was, to consider what they ought to do, and to take the reverse of that as what they would assuredly do, and I can say with truth that I was never deceived.
    Thomas Jefferson (1743–1826)

You can’t be a Real Country unless you have A BEER and an airline—it helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a BEER.
    Frank Zappa (1940–1993)

Becoming more flexible, open-minded, having a capacity to deal with change is a good thing. But it is far from the whole story. Grandparents, in the absence of the social institutions that once demanded civilized behavior, have their work cut out for them. Our grandchildren are hungry for our love and approval, but also for standards being set.
    Eda Le Shan (20th century)
