Liberation Music is closely linked with different arms of the Mushroom Group of Companies and is often known as the parent label of other Mushroom associated labels. These include Liberation Blue which represents music from the past, including artists such as Jimmy Barnes, Hunters and Collectors, and The Triffids, as well as Ivy League Records who are involved in an equity relationship with Michael Gudinski and the Mushroom Companies, and Liberator Music which is the Mushroom label for international artists in Australia including The Kaiser Chiefs, Tupac Shakur, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and The Black Ghosts.
