The Kastrioti, or Castriota (Albanian: Kastriotët) was an Albanian noble family that held the region around Debar (modern Macedonia and Albania) in the Middle Ages. The family hailed from the Dibër region in Albania. The most notable member was Skanderbeg, regarded a national hero of Albania.
