Moderator Production
The production of heavy water was already underway in Norway when the Nazis invaded on April 9, 1940. The Norwegian production of heavy water was quickly secured and improved by Nazis. The takeover and eventual sabotage was depicted in the movie, The Heroes of Telemark (1965).
