Geraneia

Mount Geraneia or Gerania (Greek: Γεράνεια), is a mountain range that spans about 5 km from north to south (about 5 km N of Agioi Theodoroi to the Gulf of Corinth) and from east to west from 15 to 20 km. (from NE of Loutraki to SW of Aigosthena. The Saronic Gulf along with much of the islands can be seen during clearer days and the northern and the eastern part of Corinth can also be seen. It is located about 20 km SW of Aigosthena, about 30 km NW of Megara, 10 km E of Loutraki, about 20 km NE of Corinth and about 15 km NE of GR-8A/E94/E65 northbound or southbound. The mountaintop name is Makryplagi elevating at 1,369 m.
