Gaida and its various spellings and transliterations is a term widely used in the Balkans and Southeast Europe for the bagpipes of that region. Southeastern European bagpipes known as gaida include: the Albanian gajde, Turkish gayda or tulum, Serbian gajde, Macedonian gajda, Slovak gajdy, and Bulgarian gaida.
