Elixir (BHU) - History

History

The festival with its present name elixir probably started in 1982 with a trade name of plexus but unfortunately it was not organised from 1998 to 2006. It has now been started as Elixir Each year, the highlights of elixir are being recorded online in reflection and also the magazine of IMS students.

Famous quotes containing the word history:

... in America ... children are instructed in the virtues of the system they live under, as though history had achieved a happy ending in American civics.
    Mary McCarthy (1912–1989)

We aspire to be something more than stupid and timid chattels, pretending to read history and our Bibles, but desecrating every house and every day we breathe in.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

What has history to do with me? Mine is the first and only world! I want to report how I find the world. What others have told me about the world is a very small and incidental part of my experience. I have to judge the world, to measure things.
    Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889–1951)
