Famous quotes containing the word music:

Who that has heard a strain of music feared then lest he should speak extravagantly any more forever?
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

    The music is in minors.
    Gwendolyn Brooks (b. 1917)

I saw our boys running after the music in many a group of clean, bright-looking, excited little fellows.
    Rutherford Birchard Hayes (1822–1893)
