Level Systems
Level systems are often employed as a form of contingency management system. Level systems are designed such that once one level is achieved, then the person earns all the privileges for that level and the levels lower than it.
Often in a behavior modification facility, it is common to use point or level systems to maintain order.

Famous quotes containing the words level and/or systems:
“There is only one honest impulse at the bottom of Puritanism, and that is the impulse to punish the man with a superior capacity for happinessto bring him down to the miserable level of good men i.e., of stupid, cowardly and chronically unhappy men.”
—H.L. (Henry Lewis)
“What is most original in a mans nature is often that which is most desperate. Thus new systems are forced on the world by men who simply cannot bear the pain of living with what is. Creators care nothing for their systems except that they be unique. If Hitler had been born in Nazi Germany he wouldnt have been content to enjoy the atmosphere.”
—Leonard Cohen (b. 1934)
