Controversy

A recently published Korean novel, entitled "Chi You King of Heaven" (蚩尤天皇) (치우천왕기 in Korean), claims that Chi You was a leader of Korean ancestry in the so-called "old country" (Joo Shin, 주신 in Korean), and that he defeated the Yellow Emperor at the tak rok (탁록 in Korean). Chongqing University professor Hunag Zhongmo (黃中模) has said that this historical novel cannot be taken seriously and Southwest University historian Zhao Zhenyu (趙振宇) has also rejected the novel's claims.

Famous quotes containing the word controversy:

And therefore, as when there is a controversy in an account, the parties must by their own accord, set up for right Reason, the Reason of some Arbitrator, or Judge, to whose sentence, they will both stand, or their controversy must either come to blows, or be undecided, for want of a right Reason constituted by Nature; so is it also in all debates of what kind soever.
    Thomas Hobbes (1579–1688)

Jimmy Carter (James Earl Carter, Jr.)
