Famous quotes containing the words mission, vision and/or statements:
“We can come up with a working definition of life, which is what we did for the Viking mission to Mars. We said we could think in terms of a large molecule made up of carbon compounds that can replicate, or make copies of itself, and metabolize food and energy. So thats the thought: macrocolecule, metabolism, replication.”
—Cyril Ponnamperuma (b. 1923)
“If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human faceforever.”
—George Orwell (19031950)
“In so far as the statements of geometry speak about reality, they are not certain, and in so far as they are certain, they do not speak about reality.”
—Albert Einstein (18791955)
