Models
The British Railways Mark 2 design has been manufactured by many of the British model railway manufacturers. These carriages have been fairly popular, although they are not produced in such large numbers as the younger Mark 3 stock. Bachmann Branchlines, Hornby, Lima, and Mainline have all produced models of the Mark 2 coach in recent years. The majority of these cars are Mk2E/F cars, although Hornby does offer Mk2A/B models (possibly re-tooled models from the former Lima range).
Model railway manufacturers today provide examples of the FO, TSO, BSO, and also buffet cars. They are offered in a range of liveries such as Virgin Trains, First Great Western, British Rail, and Network South East.

Famous quotes containing the word models:
“The greatest and truest models for all orators ... is Demosthenes. One who has not studied deeply and constantly all the great speeches of the great Athenian, is not prepared to speak in public. Only as the constant companion of Demosthenes, Burke, Fox, Canning and Webster, can we hope to become orators.”
—Woodrow Wilson (18561924)
“French rhetorical models are too narrow for the English tradition. Most pernicious of French imports is the notion that there is no person behind a text. Is there anything more affected, aggressive, and relentlessly concrete than a Parisan intellectual behind his/her turgid text? The Parisian is a provincial when he pretends to speak for the universe.”
—Camille Paglia (b. 1947)
“Today it is not the classroom nor the classics which are the repositories of models of eloquence, but the ad agencies.”
—Marshall McLuhan (19111980)
