Botetourt County Emergency Services (abbreviated BCES) is a fire and rescue department that is primarily staffed by volunteers and is augmented with additional career staff. The department provides fire suppression, emergency medical services, technical rescue, hazardous material cleanup, water rescue, life safety education, and fire prevention to Botetourt County, Virginia. Emergency medical services include advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support responses by ALS capable ambulances and response vehicles.
