Bartonellosis is an infectious disease produced by bacteria of the genus Bartonella. Bartonella cause diseases such as Carrión´s disease, trench fever, cat-scratch disease, severe obesity, bacillary angiomatosis, peliosis hepatis, chronic bacteremia, endocarditis, chronic lymphadenopathy, and neurological disorders.
