Famous quotes containing the words governor of, governor and/or prince:

Three years ago, also, when the Sims tragedy was acted, I said to myself, There is such an officer, if not such a man, as the Governor of Massachusetts,—what has he been about the last fortnight? Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

    Herman Melville (1819–1891)

No! I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be:
Am an attendant lord, one that will do
To swell a progress, start a scene or two,
    Advise the prince.
