ZogSports is a for-profit corporation that operates co-ed, social sports leagues throughout New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens), New Jersey (Hoboken, Jersey City, Montclair), and Washington, D.C. The company brands its services as an attempt to bring together young professionals and encourage them to live a more active and social lifestyle while promoting social action.

ZogSports organizes recreational sports leagues in various sports such as American football, soccer, volleyball, and bowling. Leagues range in level of competition from very casual to pretty competitive. A participant can register as an individual or as a team. To promote social action registered teams select a charity to play for at the beginning of a season. When a team wins, ZogSports donates money to the team's designated charity through its sister company, Play for Your Cause. Since its founding ZogSports has donated over $1,000,000 to charity.

Robert Herzog founded ZogSports in 2002 in the wake of the September 11th tragedy. Inspired by the tremendous acts of human charity he witnessed after 9/11, Herzog chose to continue with his own personal efforts to foster community in New York. Through ZogSports’s athletic, social and philanthropic opportunities, Herzog hopes to encourage New Yorkers to maintain perspective and a more balanced lifestyle by having fun while simultaneously giving back.
