Name Change
A formal complaint by Google to an ICANN domain-name dispute resolution provider led to the company changing its name from Googlegear to ZipZoomFly in 2003. The domain googlegear.com is now owned by Google, and http://www.googlegear.com redirects to a Google page explaining that Googlegear has never been associated with Google and provides a link to zipzoomfly.com.

Famous quotes containing the word change:
“But theres always been rich and poor, and thats all there is to it. And us two wont change it, either.
The carpenter calmly puffs away: Only the ones that likes it ought to be poor. Let the others have a try at it first. I aint got no liking for it. A fellow gets tired of it after a while.”
—Alfred Döblin (18781957)
“Unfortunately, we cannot rely solely on employers seeing that it is in their self-interest to change the workplace. Since the benefits of family-friendly policies are long-term, they may not be immediately visible or quantifiable; companies tend to look for success in the bottom line. On a deeper level, we are asking those in power to change the rules by which they themselves succeeded and with which they identify.”
—Anne C. Weisberg (20th century)
