Zina Mahjoub 'الثعبان' (literally translated to The Snake) (oOctober 5, 1933 - May28, 1957) was a Sudanese poet and song writer during the early 20th century. She also became the celebrated poet Rashad Hashim's mistress and long-time muse, inspiring his famous poem The One Who Makes The Sun Shine.
Mahjoub died on the 28 May 1957 giving birth to her third child.
