Yusuf ibn Tashfin also, Tashafin, or Teshufin; or Yusuf; (Full name: Yûsuf bnu Tâšfîn Nâçereddîn bnu Tâlâkâkîn as-Sanhâjî, Arabic: يوسف بن تاشفين ناصر الدين بن تالاكاكين الصنهاجي ; reigned c. 1061 - 1106) was a king of the Almoravid empire. He founded the city of Marrakech and led the Muslim forces in the Battle of Zallaqa/Sagrajas.
