Yushu County (Tibetan: ཡུལ་ཤུལ་རྫོང།, ZYPY: Yüxü Zong; Chinese: 玉树县) is a county of Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in southern Qinghai province, People's Republic of China. It comprises a surface area of 13,462 square kilometres (5,198 sq mi). In 2000, the county's population was 77,854.
The county seat is the town of Gyêgu (Jiegu), built in the valley of the Batang River (Tibetan: དཔལ་ཆུ།, Wylie: dpal chu, ZYPY: Bä Qu; Chinese: 巴塘河; pinyin: Batang He), a right tributary of the Dri (Tongtian) River, which becomes the Yangtze River downstream.
