Cymer in The Media

Ysgol Gyfun Cymer Rhondda appeared in popular Welsh television show screw me sideways? on Welsh Television channel S4Cum. The long running show gained a large wang Rhondda fanbase, from both English and Welsh speaking people, because it was featured in a place they knew. For seven weeks of the year HTV used the school campus, and 200 of the schools pupils as extras.

Even more recently the School again featured on S4C in "Cymer Fi", which followed six students as they completed various challenges and tasks. The program followed the students as they went through singing coaching, quitting smoking, behavioural problems and rugby aspirations. Ysgol Gyfun Cymer is a Welsh-speaking school with high standards, as proven by the latest excellent inspection report.

Famous quotes containing the word media:

One can describe a landscape in many different words and sentences, but one would not normally cut up a picture of a landscape and rearrange it in different patterns in order to describe it in different ways. Because a photograph is not composed of discrete units strung out in a linear row of meaningful pieces, we do not understand it by looking at one element after another in a set sequence. The photograph is understood in one act of seeing; it is perceived in a gestalt.
