Other notable recordings of "You Can't Hurry Love" include versions by Stray Cats, who released their cover as the flipside of their "Rock This Town" single and the Dixie Chicks (on the soundtrack of the film Runaway Bride). In 1967 has been recorded an Italian language version, entitled L'amore verrà (Love will come). Five years later (1972) it was recorded in French by Claude François, entitled "Une Fille et des Fleurs" ("A girl and flowers"). Italian singer, Nina Zilli also sang L'amore verrá including an English-spoken chorus. Also, the Clifters recorded a Finnish version, 'Leikkikalu'.
Melanie recorded a cover version of this song in a medley that also included Mama Said by The Shirelles on her 1975 album, Sunset and Other Beginnings.

The indie pioneer musician R. Stevie Moore makes another cover in his 1979 tape called "R" which is maybe the second one after the original release from The Supremes.
The Jackson 5 recorded a cover of the song in 1969 for their album Diana Ross Presents The Jackson 5 but the song was not released on that album. It was released on Come And Get It: The Rare Pearls album in 2012.
