Yeol Eum Son (born May 2, 1986, in Wonju, South Korea) is a South Korean classical pianist. Her awards include the Silver Medal at the 13th International Van Cliburn Piano Competition, in which she also received the Steven De Groote Memorial Award for the Best Performance of Chamber Music. As part of her prize package, Son received artist management from the Van Cliburn Foundation for three seasons following the competition and immediately embarked on an extensive tour across the United States and abroad.
