Famous quotes containing the word personal:
“A man lives not only his personal life, as an individual, but also, consciously or unconsciously, the life of his epoch and his contemporaries.”
—Thomas Mann (18751955)
“The grief of the keen is no personal complaint for the death of one woman over eighty years, but seems to contain the whole passionate rage that lurks somewhere in every native of the island. —J.M. (John Millington)
“Q: Have you made personal sacrifices for the sake of your career?
