Yehoshua Rokeach - Final Months

Final Months

In 1894 Rokeach began suffering from a string of strange maladies and began hinting to his Hasidim that his end was near. At one point, his Hasidim took him to Vienna to be operated upon by a specialist. Famous quotes containing the words final and/or months:

The final purpose of art is to intensify, even, if necessary, to exacerbate, the moral consciousness of people.
    Norman Mailer (b. 1923)

I find that with me low spirits and feeble health come and go together. The last two or three months I have had frequent attacks of the blues. They generally are upon me or within me when I am somewhat out of order in bowels, throat, or head.
    Rutherford Birchard Hayes (1822–1893)
