The current sheriff is Scott Mascher. The YCSO has two divisions:
- Law Enforcement Services Division- contains five bureaus:
- Northern Area Command Bureau
- Eastern Area Command Bureau
- Southern Area Command Bureau
- Technical services Bureau
- Criminal Investigations Bureau
- Detention Services Division- contains three bureaus:
- Custody Bureau
- Support Services Bureau
- Medical Services Bureau
