Career
Kim Hock represented Malaysia and competed at the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics and the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics in the badminton men's doubles event with Cheah Soon Kit. At the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics, they had a bye in the first round and defeated Ha Tae-kwon and Kang Kyung-jin of Korea in quarterfinals. In the final, Soon Kit and Kim Hock lost to Rexy Mainaky and Ricky Subagja of Indonesia 15-5, 13-15, 12-15. At the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics, they could only reached the second round before losing to the South Korean doubles.
