He is married to actress Chantal Craig and they have three daughters, Brianna, Dominique and Mikaela. Craig made an appearance on one of Bisson's television series, Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye. Brianna Bisson played the character Penny Renton in an episode of Murdoch Mysteries: "Love and Human Remains." (IMDB.com identifies the character as Penny "Ranton" but the production credits list "Renton.")
