Work

His work gradually grew larger, but has remained precise, combining elements of Catalan, French, and Spanish culture.

Famous quotes containing the word work:
“A written word is the choicest of relics. It is something at once more intimate with us and more universal than any other work of art. It is the work of art nearest to life itself. It may be translated into every language, and not only be read but actually breathed from all human lips;Mnot be represented on canvas or in marble only, but be carved out of the breath of life itself. The symbol of an ancient mans thought becomes a modern mans speech.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“... actresses require protection in their art from blind abuse, from savage criticism. Their work is their religion, if they are seeking the best in their art, and to abuse that faith is to rob them, to dishonor them.”
—Nance ONeil (18741965)
“Read the Bible. Work hard and honestly. And dont complain.”
—Billy Graham (b. 1918)
