Novelization
A novelization of the film has been written by Shaun Hutson and is scheduled for publication by Arrow Publishing in association with Hammer and the Random House Group in August 2012, ISBN 978-0-09-955622-0. The novel updates the story to modern times, with part of the action taking place in Afghanistan.
