Wyre Forest (UK Parliament Constituency) - Boundaries

Boundaries

The Wyre Forest constituency as it was drawn for the 1997 election is almost coterminous with Wyre Forest district, with around 2,000 electors from the district in the neighbouring Leominster constituency. Following its review of parliamentary constituencies in advance of the 2010 election, the Boundary Commission has recommended the portions of the district currently in Leominster move in to this seat, making the constituency and district wholly coterminous.

These changes have been brought about in part by the consideration of Worcestershire and Herefordshire separately for the drawing of parliamentary constituency boundaries.

Famous quotes containing the word boundaries:

Whereas the Greeks gave to will the boundaries of reason, we have come to put the will’s impulse in the very center of reason, which has, as a result, become deadly.
    Albert Camus (1913–1960)

Women’s art, though created in solitude, wells up out of community. There is, clearly, both enormous hunger for the work thus being diffused, and an explosion of creative energy, bursting through the coercive choicelessness of the system on whose boundaries we are working.
    Adrienne Rich (b. 1929)

Ideas are not thoughts; the thought respects the boundaries that the idea ignores thereby failing to realize itself.
    Franz Grillparzer (1791–1872)
