There is a bus terminus associated with the railway station, providing the interchange between the Ma On Shan Line and the following bus routes:

- 89D to Lam Tin Station
- 99 to Sai Kung (via Nai Chung)
- 274P to Tai Po Industrial Estate (single-way morning service)
The bus terminus in the nearly Lee On Estate also connects Wu Kai Sha Station to the following bus services:

- 86X to Kom Tsun Street, Cheung Sha Wan (peak-time express service)
- 680 to Admiralty Station
- 680X to Macau Ferry Terminal, Central (peak time express service)
- 682 to Chai Wan (via Siu Sai Wan Estate)
- 885 to Sha Tin Racecourse (on racing days only)
