Worthy FM is the onsite radio station of The Glastonbury Festival. It broadcasts on 87.7 MHz FM and online for one week only during the Festival, operating under a Restricted Service Licence (RSL). The station features interviews, music and performance from across the festival site, as well as important information on traffic congestion, camping availability and overcrowding. It is intended for those at or on the approach to the festival.
The station is run by a team of 30 volunteers, many of whom have been working on the station for a number of years. In addition, the station reserves a small number of crew places each year for new volunteers, who are chosen through a national competition judged by festival organiser Emily Eavis.

Famous quotes containing the word worthy:
“I have spent all my life under a Communist regime, and I will tell you that a society without any objective legal scale is a terrible one indeed. But a society with no other scale but the legal one is not quite worthy of man either.”
—Alexander Solzhenitsyn (b. 1918)
