World Cafe Live is a three-tiered live music venue dedicated to showcasing live music. The venue is well known for hosting upcoming local artists as well as nationally touring acts. Past performers have included Adele, Phoenix and Aimee Mann. The venue also hosts the beta hi-fi Music Festival every year in an effort to highlight and promote local talent. Past participants have been artists such as Melody Gardot, Joshua Park and Rod Kim.
World Cafe Live is a full-service restaurant, serving drinks and light fare for upstairs performances and serving complete dinners during the shows downstairs.
A second World Cafe Live venue, known as World Cafe Live at the Queen, opened in the former Queen Theatre in Wilmington, Delaware in the early spring of 2011.
