Famous quotes containing the words places and/or interest:

    ‘Whence thou return’st, and whither wentst, I know;
    For God is also in sleep; and dreams advise,
    Which he hath sent propitious, some great good
    Presaging, since, with sorrow and heart’s distress,
    Wearied I fell asleep: but now lead on;
    In me is no delay; without thee here to stay,
    Is to go hence unwilling; thou to me
    Art all things under Heaven, all places thou,
    John Milton (1608–1674)

    I am pleased to think of Channing as an inhabitant of the gray town. Seven cities contended for Homer dead. Tell him to remain at least long enough to establish Concord’s right and interest in him.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
