Woodford Green Preparatory School is a preparatory school in Woodford Green, Essex. It is known locally as The Red School due to the distinctive red uniforms its pupils wear. It was founded in 1932 to provide a non-denominational Christian education for boys and girls. The first headmistress was Miss Norah Kathleen Read. The current one is Mrs J Hart. She became head after Tony Blackhurst.
