The station is served by Greater Anglia, who operate services between Ipswich and Lowestoft. All services are operated by diesel multiple units of Classes 156 or 170.

The main service operates between Ipswich and Lowestoft every 2 hours. Between Ipswich and Saxmundham there is a train every hour. There is 1 train per day to Harwich International to connect with the Stena Line ferry to Hoek van Holland.
