Wolf Haven International, formerly known as Wolf Haven America and Wolf Haven Country, is a wildlife rehabilitation and management 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Tenino, Washington, that focuses on wolves. Founded in 1982 by Steve and Linda Kuntz, the group provides educational programs on wolves, engages in wolf-related activism, and operates a sanctuary that houses primarily captive-born wolves. It also fosters red wolves for a breeding program in North Carolina and is one of three facilities in the United States that provides pre-release housing for Mexican gray wolves bred for Southwest restoration programs.
Forty-two wolves are harbored at its 80-acre (32 ha) refuge, which can be toured by visitors. These include thirty gray wolves, four Mexican gray wolves, four red wolves, and four wolf/domestic-dog hybrids. In addition to these are two coyotes.

Famous quotes containing the words wolf and/or haven:
“Regna regnis lupi, The State is a wolf unto the State. It is not a pessimistic lamentation like the old homo homini lupus [Man is a wolf to Man], but a positive creed and political ideal.”
—Johan Huizinga (18721945)
“Finishing schools in the fifties were a good place to store girls for a few years before marrying them off, a satisfactory rest stop between college weekends spent husband hunting. It was a haven for those of us adept at styling each others hair, playing canasta, and chain smoking Pall Mall extra-long cigarettes.”
—Barbara Howar (b. 1934)
