WNNE - Overview

Overview

Although identifying as a separate station in its own right, this outlet is actually considered a semi-satellite of WPTZ in Plattsburgh, New York. Master control and most internal operations are based at that station's facility on Television Drive in Plattsburgh. WNNE clears all network, syndicated, and local programming a provided by WPTZ but has separate legal on-air identifications and local commercial inserts. It does not maintain a separate web address from its parent outlet but does feature a dedicated section with Upper Valley-specific news headlines and weather forecasts.

WNNE primarily serves the southern and eastern portions of the Burlington/Plattsburgh market. In West-Central New Hampshire, the station's official coverage area consists of Sullivan and Grafton counties. Additional viewership comes from surrounding counties in the Southern New Hampshire sub-market which is actually part of the Greater Boston designated market area. As a result, WNNE is within reach of the home territories of sister stations WMUR-TV in Manchester, New Hampshire and Hearst Television New England flagship WCVB-TV in Boston, Massachusetts.
