Digital Television
In April 2012, WMNT submitted an application to flash-cut its channel 48 signal to digital. However, plans for WMNT-CA to be on Buckeye Cablesystem, are still in place. This means "My 58" will be on cable only when WMNT-CA's analog signal goes dark for good (expected some time between 2012 and 2015) until its replacement over-the-air digital signal signs on at some point afterwards.
On March 3, 2013, WMNT-CA flash-cut to digital operations, remaining on UHF 48. The station operates four subchannels:
Channel | Aspect ratio | Programming |
---|---|---|
48.1 | 4:3 480i | Main WMNT-CA / My Network TV/America One Programming |
48.2 | 4:3 480i | Mundo FOX |
48.3 | 4:3 480i | This TV |
48.4 | 4:3 480i | WeatherNation |
- Currently 48.1 is the only sub-channel with audio and video. The other 3 are blank or have a multicolor stripe test pattern.
- 48.1 picture is squeezed 16x9 (versus center cut or letter boxed picture), to fit into a 4x3 screen. Manual adjustments should be made to your TV or recorders. Also note audio levels are allot lower than other channels.
