Without Some Help. Net Edition
Without Some Help is a 2006 Internet download release by Alpha, which was available only through their website; a 12 track edition of the LP was available in mainstream music shops. Primarily comprising songs by other artists, which were remixed by Alpha, it also features collaborations between Alpha and four guest vocalists; Horace Andy, James Roberts, Kelvin Swaby from 'The Heavy', and long-term Alpha vocalist, Wendy Stubbs, who joined the band on a full-time basis shortly after this release. The download only version differs from the general release by the exclusion of "Yellow" by Coldplay, "Inertia Creeps" by Massive Attack, "Jack" by Edition (all remixed by Alpha) and the inclusion of an original Alpha track, "Ariel."

Famous quotes containing the words net and/or edition:
“A culture may be conceived as a network of beliefs and purposes in which any string in the net pulls and is pulled by the others, thus perpetually changing the configuration of the whole. If the cultural element called morals takes on a new shape, we must ask what other strings have pulled it out of line. It cannot be one solitary string, nor even the strings nearby, for the network is three-dimensional at least.”
—Jacques Barzun (b. 1907)
“Books have their destinies like men. And their fates, as made by generations of readers, are very different from the destinies foreseen for them by their authors. Gullivers Travels, with a minimum of expurgation, has become a childrens book; a new illustrated edition is produced every Christmas. Thats what comes of saying profound things about humanity in terms of a fairy story.”
—Aldous Huxley (18941963)
