Wireless Intelligent Network

Wireless Intelligent Network (WIN) is a concept developed by the TR-45 Mobile and Personal Communications Systems Standards engineering committee of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA). Its objective is to transport the resources of the Intelligent Network to the wireless network, utilizing the TIA-41 set of technical standards. Basing WIN standards on this protocol allows changing to an intelligent network without making current network infrastructure obsolete.

Famous quotes containing the words intelligent and/or network:

The majority is never right. Never, I tell you! That’s one of these lies in society that no free and intelligent man can help rebelling against. I think we can agree it’s the fools, no matter where you go in this world, it’s the fools that form the overwhelming majority.
    Henrik Ibsen (1828–1906)

Parents need all the help they can get. The strongest as well as the most fragile family requires a vital network of social supports.
    Bernice Weissbourd (20th century)
