Archaeology
Winterbourne Gunner has had quite some archaeological interest, for example in an episode of Time Team (season 2, Saxon Graves) in which early 6th century Saxon graves near Salt Lane were investigated. Interesting to see are also circular crop marks, with a diameter of 20 to 30 feet, indicating barrows.
