- Eeyore the Donkey, Owl, and Samuel J. Gopher do not appear at all in this short.
- This is the last time we see Pooh and Piglet living together (after the events of Winnie-The-Pooh and the Blustery Day). In later shorts, Piglet and Owl live in the same houses as in that short. The explanation may be that Piglet found a different beech tree to build a new house in and Owl built a treehouse on top of what used to be Piglet's house.
