Windows Live Admin Center

Windows Live Admin Center (changed from Windows Live Custom Domains in November 2007) is a service provided by Windows Live. It enables users with domain names to change their domain MX record(s) (mail server records) so that all features of Windows Live Hotmail will be available on their own domain names.

Email accounts provided by Admin Center are Windows Live IDs and can be used to sign into MSN Messenger and Windows Live Messenger and all other Windows Live ID enabled services.

One Windows Live ID can be set as the administrator and using that ID accounts can be created, modified or deleted. The administrator may also choose to allow anyone to create his or her own account in the domain via a link on the domain's web site. Administrators can choose from a web-based or Windows-based application to manage all aspects of their domain accounts.

Users with Admin Center accounts can check their emails using Windows Live Hotmail, Windows Live Mail, and Outlook.

Famous quotes containing the words windows, live and/or center:

But let my due feet never fail
To walk the studious cloister’s pale,
And love the high embowed roof,
    With antic pillars massy proof,
    And storied windows richly dight,
    Casting a dim, religious light.
    John Milton (1608–1674)

Oh, you’ll love the sea. There’s something about it. The hot red dawn, the towering sails, the wake on a tropical night. Oh, you’ll love it all. It’s a glorious kind of world. I couldn’t live without it.
—Charles Larkworthy. Denison Clift. Capt. Benjamin Briggs (Arthur Margetson)

Children can’t be a center of life and a reason for being. They can be a thousand things that are delightful, interesting, satisfying, but they can’t be a wellspring to live from. Or they shouldn’t be.
    Doris Lessing (b. 1919)
