Famous quotes containing the word death:

Oh! death will find me long before I tire
    Of watching you.
    Rupert Brooke (1887–1915)

I found a dimpled spider, fat and white,
On a white heal-all, holding up a moth
Like a white piece of rigid satin cloth—
Assorted characters of death and blight
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)

What you don’t know can indeed hurt you, and so those who can neither read nor write lead miserable lives, like Richard Wright’s character, Bigger Thomas, born dead with no past or future.
    Ishmael Reed (b. 1938)
